Meet Amy
Amy is the owner and principal designer of Ariella Designs. A lifelong interior design and art enthusiast, she obtained a certificate in interior design from the New York School of Interior Design (NYSID). Prior to establishing Ariella Designs, Amy practiced law for nearly twenty years, most recently as a partner in a large firm in Washington, D.C. With her legal background, Amy brings to her clients’ projects unparalleled attention to detail and problem-solving skills, ensuring not only a beautiful outcome, but a smooth process.
While the most successful projects are a true reflection of her clients’ unique styles and preferences, Amy’s own design aesthetic can be described as an updated and often whimsical take on traditional design. She creates spaces that respect the classical architecture pervasive throughout the Washington, D.C. area, but which showcase modern pieces, patterns, and art. By mixing classical design with modern touches, Amy creates elegant and layered spaces that are at once curated and livable.
Amy lives in Washington, D.C. in the historic Cleveland Park neighborhood with her husband and rescue dogs.
